Community Advice and Support
Our Community Advice and Support Team (CAST) can support you individually, or as a family, if you are experiencing a social care problem.
We can also support you if you are aged 18 or over and experiencing difficulty in caring for a loved one.
Community activities
As well as offering individual support, The Fed offers group support. Activities for adults are based at our Community Centre at Heathlands Village.
We also offer activities for children based at our Children’s Centre at Heathlands Village.
Moorview Supported Independent Living
If you are aged 55 or older and need support to help you live independently, Moorview could be a great solution. At Moorview, we offer rented accommodation with the option of general support and/or support with personal care.
Volunteer support
Do you feel alone or isolated? Are you struggling to get to appointments for medical treatment? Do you need help with your shopping and errands? The Fed’s trained and supervised volunteers offer a befriending service and practical support.
My Voice
Are you, or a loved one, a Holocaust Survivor or Refugee? The Fed’s My Voice life story project can help you pass on your story to future generations. My Voice is run by The Fed’s Volunteer Department.
Room Hire
Are you looking for a local venue for a meeting, conference or private party? The Fed has a number of meeting and function rooms available for hire at Heathlands Village. We also offer a variety of catering options for your event and IT and presentation equipment for hire.
