Funding your care & accommodation

Funding for your care & accommodation

Before moving into Heathlands Village our Admissions Team will discuss what type of care you need. At the same time they will talk to you about our charges and the different payment methods.

The cost depends on the level of care needed, the type of room you choose and your individual financial circumstances.

Funding for your care

Public funding may be available from your Local Council and/or from the NHS, to help you pay for your care at Heathlands Village. You will be assessed by a social worker to find out if you are eligible to receive funding for your care.

It’s important to note that public funding does not cover all the costs of care. Your family, if you have one, will be expected to make a ‘third party contribution’ towards the associated costs. The amount payable will depend on the type of accommodation you request and accept.

Helpful information about funding can be found here: www.ageuk.org.uk or by asking for a factsheet by calling 0800 169 6565.
