Mums & Tots hold ‘Picnic in the Park’ with Maccabi

Maccabi Manchester’s Astro-pitch was put to a very novel use earlier in the summer as the temporary venue for The Fed’s Mums ‘n’ Tots group.

The Wednesday group, which normally meets at The Fed’s Children’s Centre at Heathlands Village, reopened for the first time since lockdown.

Playleader, Carol Booth, who organised the ‘Picnic in the Park’ said, “It was a perfect morning – just great to give mums the chance to relax and socialise while their little ones played. And it was fantastic to collaborate with the Maccabi team so we could make this possible for our mums.” (NB The group is for tots up to 5 yrs).
