Our annual Caring Sunday telethon took place on Sunday (29.11.15) at our Prestwich headquarters at Heathlands Village.

Fundraising Manager, Rochelle Broman, oversaw a team of teen-aged fundraisers who rang donors and gathered donations in support of our Children and Families Services:

“Caring Sunday is about children supporting other children. Once a year we invite local schools to help us fundraise through the telethon.

The money the kids bring in for The Fed supports children with disabilities, life-threatening illness or special needs or children living through crisis such as abuse, terminal illness of a parent or homelessness due to domestic violence.

Every year the kids are amazing and this year was no exception. Their energy and enthusiasm is infectious and we have a lot of fun on the day.

Thanks to them we’re on course to bringing in £19,000.”

Over seventy 14 to 18 year old pupils from King David High, Manchester Mesivta, Yavneh Boys, Yavneh Girls and Manchester Grammar signed up for the event.
