The new school term in September 2019 saw the first intake of The Fed’s Bar and Bat Mitzvah program at Heathlands Village, in a new initiative from The Fed.
Fifteen boys and girls who will be taking part in an exciting, innovative and meaningful year of activities in both the wider community with The Fed and at Heathlands Village were introduced to madrich, Rafi Kleiman, who will lead the course together with The Fed’s Fundraising and Volunteer teams.
Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Raphi Bloom, took the children and their parents on a tour of Heathlands Village, before the group heard from Dalia Kaufman, The Fed’s Volunteer Recruitment Officer about the invaluable work they will be assisting with throughout the year.
