I am supporting The Fed’s My Voice Holocaust Survivor Storyteller Project as I believe it is vitally important to record for posterity the incredibly tragic events of the Holocaust and share the resilience and courage of the Survivors to live through the pain and despair of that period.

To undertake this, I am walking 50kms over two days from Carlisle Airport – where the Windermere Boys arrived after liberation to begin to rebuild their lives – to the Calgarth Estate where they undertook their rehabilitation.
