I’m stepping well outside my comfort zone and taking part in the Maccabi Strictly dancing competition to raise money for The Fed in Manchester – a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart.
If you know me, you’ll know that dancing on stage really isn’t my thing. I’ve never done anything like this before, so it’s a huge personal challenge – there will be nerves, plenty of rehearsals, and probably a few sore feet along the way, but it’s all for a brilliant cause.
The Fed supports thousands of people of all ages across our community every year with issues such as mental health, abuse, homelessness, poverty and isolation. It also runs the amazing Heathlands Village Care home where my Grandma Sarine lives and is looked after with such love and care. It’s an organisation I care about deeply, which is exactly why I’ve signed up for this challenge – to help raise as much as possible so they can keep doing that life transforming – and often lifesaving – work.
Please help make the practice, nerves, and stepping out of my comfort zone worthwhile by sponsoring me. Every donation, big or small, will mean a lot to both me and The Fed.
Thank you for your support – and I promise to give it my all on the dance floor!
