At a ceremony at the Trafford Town Hall on Sunday 21st July, Mayor Rob Chilton presented our South Manchester Volunteer Co-Ordinator, Avital Gilbey, with a certificate for The Fed.
This recognised the inspirational contribution of our wonderful volunteers and our role in nurturing their talents.
It was part of Trafford Council’s new initiative to highlight the important role that volunteer teams and their organisations make to everyday life.
The initiative was launched this year, to coincide with National Volunteer’s Week.
