Building on their recent learning session on fundraising, youngsters on our Bar/Bat Mitzvah programme held a fundraiser ‘GETFIT4THEFED WITHF92’ at Albert Park. A beautiful early-spring day set the tone for two hours of fitness and fun, with each student organising their own sponsorship before the event.
The group were split up into three teams then got stuck into Zorb football, extreme frisbee, an assault course and an athletics race.
Programme leads, Natasha Sarak and Dan Jeffries, enthused about the event afterwards, “We had a great morning with perfect weather for a fitness challenge. We are really proud of our group for making so much effort to raise money and getting put through their paces whilst they got fit for The Fed.”
“It was also nice for families to be able to attend this event, to cheer their children on and see how they are building on what they have learnt in the programme.”
All participants received a medal and certificate but a special shout out to Adina for getting the fastest time on the athletics race and to Matty for finishing first on the finishers lap.
