The Fed supports 1 in 7 families in the Greater Manchester Jewish Community including many children. Thanks to the determined efforts of two of The Fed’s fundraising committees – Fed Ex and Fed Up North – and the incredible generosity of Fed supporters, Chanukah will be lit up for some of the most in-need children in the community. Every toy was specially selected by the Community Advice and Support Team (CAST) to cater to each child’s needs and abilities, placed on a wish list and purchased by community members.
Thanks to the fantastic response of the community, over 200 presents filled The Fed’s fundraising office in Heathlands Village waiting for delivery – leaving fundraiser, Natasha Sarak, disappearing under a mound of of gifts in the run-up to Chanukah.
