Friendships Bloom At Southport Flower Show!

More than 30 carers and clients of The Fed recently spent a day at the Southport Flower Show.

The group, comprised of members of the charity’s Carers Support Group and mental health Drop-In, travelled together to Southport before spending a taking in the gorgeous displays and arrangements on offer.

“It was a fantastic day out,” said Shelley Lewis, Senior Practitioner of The Fed’s Community Advice and Support Team.

“It was a chance for our Drop In members and Carers Support Group to socialise and relax together, away from everyday stresses and worries. We were so lucky that the sun shone all day – a really gorgeous time!”

Moorview House tenants Raymond Myers and Barry Green also joined the group, with Raymond commenting that the trip was “great fun!”
