Fed Ted has a found a firm new fan in six year old Eva.æ She’s really fallen for him!
He and his other teddy friends were bought through a generous donation to The Fed by a local business person.
Sold at £7.50 each, the profits from sales of Fed Ted will help support The Fed’s children’s and other services.
And his special Fed T shirt will remind people that The Fed is here to help.
Eva appeared in The Fed’s fundraising film at our Appeal Dinner 2015 (with guest David Walliams) with her parents Mark and Ruth who also spoke at the event.
Ruth told us,
“Having a child with disabilities profoundly affects a family. Regular breaks from caring are desperately important. Eva has respite support from The Fed’s Project Smile and visits their children’s centre twice a week. She loves it and it helps us so, so much. The money from selling the Fed Teds will help families like ours, and other people in need. By the way Eva has slept with her Fed Ted every night since she got him!”
Fed Teds can be purchased from the village shop at Heathlands Village or from the Fundraising Department on the 3rd floor.
