Salary: £27.000 – £31.000 dependant on experience 

The Fed is a social care charity offering an exciting and supportive work environment.

Our purpose is to provide outstanding advice, support and care services to people of all ages living in the Jewish community.

We are currently offering a diverse and rewarding vacancy in our Community Advice and Support Team (CAST) for a ‘Registered Social Worker’.

This person will undertake Community Health and Social Care Assessments (Care Act) for the Jewish community of Greater Manchester; supporting people with a diverse range of needs who seek our support, assessing their situation and giving advice regarding services, funding, legislation, aids and benefits.


The role also involves working directly with people and their carers in a range of establishments, including their own homes; offering individual practical and emotional guidance and support.

The right person for this position:

·         Is a Registered Social Worker

·         is passionate about improving people’s lives

·         is a brilliant communicator

·         has great assessment skills

·         is highly motivated

·         is warm and approachable

·         has previous experience of working successfully with people

·         Car owner/driver essential.
