‘The Yaffe Boys’ will be donning their walking boots to take on the gruelling 24 miles of the Three Peaks Yorkshire Challenge to trek4thefed.
“As regular running partners we frequently pound the roads keeping ourselves fit and have competed in numerous 10k and half marathons. This time we are substantially upping both our distance and game in order to raise valuable funds for an amazing organisation very close to both our hearts.”
Howard – “Our Mum and Dad both spent the latter days of their lives in Heathlands Village being looked after in the most incredible, warm and caring way by its fantastic staff. The recent COVID 19 crisis has only served to highlight more than ever the true value of all front line care workers and the immense debt of gratitude we owe them.”
Bernie – “The other jewels in the crown of the The Fed are its Community Services and Volunteering Groups who support 1 in 10 Jewish homes in Manchester. With government cutbacks in funding set to continue and people living longer with knock on impacts on social and mental health issues, the demands on The Feds services will only increase. That’s why raising critical funds to support these vital services is so important to the organisation.”
Thank you so much for your generous support – we are really looking forward to the Three Peaks Challenge!
