Manchester is a massive sprawling urban space, so there is an inherent, natural satisfaction of escaping by heading to the hills and mountains. Being in the high mountains and walking round beautiful lakes always fills me with the excitement of another walking adventure.
So what can be better than taking part in The Fed’s ‘trek4thefed’ challenge of hiking a gruelling circuit of over 20 miles around one of the most picturesque lakes in The Lake District with the most stunning views. This will help to raise much needed funds for the many vital social care projects The Fed is involved with. This is particularly important during the difficult, unprecedented time we are all living though.
