Hi Family and Friends in Manchester,
As a Mancunian living in Israel I was pleased to be asked to take on this challenge to raise much needed funds for The Fed.
YAM LE YAM ( Sea to Sea) is a 100km walk and crosses the whole width of the country, starting from Achziv Beach on the Mediterranean Sea and climbing through Nachal K’ziv to the peak of Mt. Meron, the second highest mountain in Israel all the way to Chof Kinneret on the Sea of Galilee.
I know from personal experience the value of having good family and good friends in times of crisis and difficulty.
But for the support of those close to us we would have been lost, we would have struggled more, and sometimes we may have felt completely desolate and unable to cope.
Sometimes though the carers, or the cared for, need to look outside for help and it is here that The Fed fills the gap.
By providing a huge host of services and activities it supports the wonderful; Jewish community of Manchester in those times of need.
Apart from our personal contribution to cover the cost of the trip we have to raise £2,000 for The Fed.
Please support me as I push myself beyond my comfort zone for this worthy cause.
No matter how small a donation – it all counts and is much appreciated.
