The Purple Room Cafe

The Fed’s Community Cafe is open to the whole community every Wednesday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm.

Known as “The Purple Room Cafe”, it offers a warm welcome and place to meet or make new friends, enjoy a chat over a cuppa, play a game or take part in an activity.

Fancy a game of Scrabble, Rummikub, or table-tennis? There’s always someone to play with. Like to surf the net or need to send some emails? Use our computers.

Or if you need some advice or signposting you can catch up with a member of staff at The Fed. (Advice sessions can be pre-booked).

The cafe also hosts visits, from time to time, from health professionals or community groups or services who provide advice and information or run special interest sessions.

Whatever the reason for your visit we’ll be delighted to see you here!
