Children’s Centre

The Fed’s purpose-built Children’s Centre is a superb venue for one-to-one sessions with our Care at Home support workers and our Project Smile group activities.

It is beautifully decorated with lots of bright, vivid murals and is an ideal, safe venue for children.

It has a fantastic selection of toys and games for children of any age and ability.

There are different areas for activities including crafts, dressing up, quiet reading and music and a state-of-the-art, multi-sensory room for relaxation.

There’s also a fully functioning kitchen for teaching life-skills and lots of outdoor play space.

It really has everything a child of any age could need.

The Fed’s Children’s Centre is also used by professionals for:

  • supervised contact
  •  CIN (Children in Need) meetings – to look at a child’s needs and  formulate a plan to help        support the child and family
  • TAC (Team around the Child) meetings – to regularly review the support given to a family.
  • one-to-one work with young people – providing a space for a child to talk freely about their feelings
