Welcome to our fundraising page!
We are 5 Manchester girls now living in London and Bristol – but we remain proud of our northern roots.
We are taking on the TREK 4 THE FED challenge to raise much needed funds for The Fed – the leading social care charity for the Manchester Jewish Community.
The Fed supports people of all ages across the Manchester Jewish community providing life-enhancing – and often lifesaving – support. It supports one in seven Jewish homes and over 6.500 people every year.
Homelessness, mental health issues, sexual and domestic abuse, isolation, self-harm and financial crisis are devastating issues The Fed’s Community Support teams are working with daily. In addition, at Heathlands Village, The Fed cares for 140 residents and tenants with state-of-the-art loving care in a warm Jewish environment; providing independent living, residential, dementia, nursing and palliative care.
We will be walking 25km on Sunday 18th May from Putney Bridge to Southwark, crossing 16 bridges.
Collectively we will be walking approximately 160,255 steps.
All donations will be very gratefully received and really will make a difference.
With thanks and gratitude,
Jemma, Debbie, Debbie, Martine and Lauren
