The NatWest Jewish Society is raising money for The Fed, to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2025.
This Manchester-based Jewish social care charity supports 1 in 7 Jewish homes (and over 6,500 people every year) in Greater Manchester.
It supports people of all ages and of all levels of religious observance and Jewish identity – suffering from mental health issues, sexual and domestic abuse, isolation, loneliness, self-harm and poverty. In addition to this, The Fed provides state of the art, loving, care to 100 residents and tenants at Heathlands Village.
In the past year The Fed managed:
- 22,248 individual instances of support
- 2,489 calls for help answered
- 2,403 attendances at children’s groups
- 2,125 attendances at activities to support mental wellbeing
- 305 monthly caseloads involving mental ill health/wellbeing
