We’re walking 24 miles and climbing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise money for The Fed.
Below are our reasons for taking part and why we would love you to support us
As a long-term Fed volunteer, I have seen first-hand the amazing work The Fed does across many different areas in Manchester.
The support that The Fed provided me as a Fed volunteer enabled me to really make a difference to someone’s life and I couldn’t be more grateful that programs like this exist to allow me to give back to my community.
I also know many people that utilise The Fed’s extensive range of services including life skills courses and mental health drop ins which provide many people with the skills they need to truly live independently.
A great charity worthy of everyone’s support!
From my first interaction with The Fed aged 12 when I donated a portion of my bat-mitzvah money, I saw what a vast and inclusive charity The Fed was – running programs from play centres to befriending services.
I also used to visit Heathlands as a child and having visited again recently, have been lucky to witness the incredible transformation it has had because of The Fed.
In short, The Fed makes so many people’s lives better and needs the support of the entire community to enable them to continue their remarkable work.
