Raising Money and Telling Friends

Holding a fundraising event

Want to arrange a sponsored fun-run with your friends, a comedy night, a car-wash or theatre evening? However big or small your event, how ever much or little you raise, every little helps! We’ll support you by designing posters and tickets, liaising with the press and helping to make your event a success.

Taking on a sponsored challenge

Climbing Kilimanjaro? Cycling from London to Paris? A head-shave? A diet? A bungee jump? Is there something bold and daring or simply daft that you’ve always wanted to do? Do you want to raise money on the back of it to help others? Then give us a call to discuss how we can support you, so that you can help us.

Hosting or attending a Friends of The Fed breakfast meeting

We’re very keen for our supporters to tell their friends about our work. Early bird breakfast meetings or parlour evenings are a great way for us to reach more people. These aren’t fundraising events but they are just as important.

They provide great informal opportunities to meet our Chief Executive, Mark Cunningham, Chairman, Mark Adlestone and Treasurer, Bernie Yaffe. We explain what The Fed currently offers by way of services, our future plans and funding issues. We learn more about how people perceive our work and plans and the community’s needs.

If you would like to get involved with The Fed in any of the above ways, or if you have your own idea for fundraising, please call Rochelle Broman, Fundraising Manager, or any member of her team on 0161 772 4800. To learn what some of our incredible current fundraisers are up to please click here.
