THE FED’S HEATHLANDS VILLAGE Esther Kay Medical Centre houses our physiotherapy department run by our Senior Physiotherapist, Jan Wright MCSP.
The centre is on the ground floor of the HEATHLANDS VILLAGE main building with easy access from our car-parks. The treatment room is bright and airy with views over our gardens.
Jan has worked at HEATHLANDS VILLAGE for over 15 years. She has more than 30 years’ specialised experience in the treatment of older people.
Jan offers treatment and advice for:
• Spinal pain
• Osteoarthritis and joint pain
• Muscle sprains
• Frozen shoulder
• Post operative rehabilitation
• Mobility problems
Jan’s main employment is in caring for the residents of HEATHLANDS VILLAGE. These are people who live with us permanently or stay with us temporarily, as part of their “intermediate care”, following a period of hospitalisation or ill-health.
In addition Jan offers afternoon outpatient appointments at the very reasonable rate of £30 per hour session. (The initial consultation is usually for 45 minutes and is charged at £45.) A GP referral is essential.
