Support is offered to people who experience mental health or emotional difficulties via our DROP IN service. This provides members with individual support, social opportunities and activities in a friendly, safe and familiar environment. The DROP IN service is run by our mental health support worker and sessional staff. Help is on hand if a member is going through a difficult time.
The DROP IN
Our DROP IN service offers regular evening sessions and monthly Sunday “bagel brunches”. These take place at our Community Centre situated on the ground floor of Eventhall House, HEATHLANDS VILLAGE.
Members can meet for a chat and a bite to eat and join in activities such as pool or board-games. Once a week members meet for coffee at the Maccabi Clubhouse in North Manchester.
Events
We have a full programme of activities including parties and outings to the theatre or to play ten-pin bowling. We also organise well-being sessions which include massage and laughter therapy.
Consulting members
We make sure that we provide what members want by regularly consulting with them about the type of activities they want us to arrange.
Details of our DROP IN session times and activities/outings are available to all DROP IN members on our mailing list.
We can arrange to meet up with new members before their first DROP IN visit in order to find out what support might be needed.
