With many years’ experience of community care procedures, THE FED is uniquely placed to offer a first-class, professional brokerage service.
We have an excellent understanding of continuing health care and Fair Access to Care (FACs) criteria and their application to personal budgets.
What is a personal budget?
A personal budget is a sum of money that has been allocated to you based on an assessment of your care or health needs. You or someone acting on your behalf can choose how to spend that money to meet your needs in a way that suits your lifestyle.
What is brokerage?
Brokerage is support given to someone who has a personal budget. It helps them decide what services are needed and find the most suitable provider of those services. Although you can choose to manage your budget yourself, many people prefer to use a “support broker”. The broker helps them work out what support package will best meet their needs and preferences.
