THE FED, has secured award winning actor and writer, James Corden, to host its biennial fundraising event – THE FED Appeal Dinner.
The high profile occasion, which is sponsored by Beaverbrooks and Concerva, will take place on 18 April 2013 at a leading Manchester venue. BAFTA award-winning Corden, who was named GQ’s Man of the Year in September, joins an illustrious list of names who have previously hosted the evening, including Bob Geldof and Joanna Lumley.
Around 600 patrons and supporters of THE FED will attend the gala dinner, after which they’ll be invited to enter a two-year pledge.
Karen Phillips, THE FED’s CEO, said: “The Appeal Dinner is without doubt the pinnacle of THE FED’s fundraising calendar, so we’re absolutely thrilled to have a host of James’ calibre on board. Aside from being a national treasure, he’s perfectly placed to ensure that our guests have a truly memorable evening.
