On Friday 10th February children from Bury and Whitefield Jewish Primary School were presented with a certificate from THE FED to thank them for their participation in FED FRIDAY. In honour of the annual event, which raises money that helps to run many of the FED’s invaluable services throughout the Jewish community, the students were encouraged by their Headteacher, Ms Claire Simon, to wear orange on FED FRIDAY to reflect THE FED’s new branding, and donate £1 to FED FRIDAY. Through their efforts, the students raised over £120 and to show their gratitude, THE FED’s Fundraising Manager, Rochelle Broman, and Volunteer Recruitment and Training Officer, Joanne Woolfson, presented the children with a certificate at their school assembly.
