Gift Aid
Gift Aid provides a great opportunity for you to increase the value of your donations to The Fed. Provided you are a taxpayer, The Fed can reclaim from the Inland Revenue the basic rate tax paid, boosting the donation by 28.2%. So a gift of £10 from you becomes £12.82.
Subject to a few simple rules, you can give any amount of money, large or small, regular or one-off, and we can reclaim the tax.
All you need to do is make a simple declaration saying that you want to use Gift Aid. It can also be backdated to cover all donations since 6 April 2000.
