The Fed's Chief Executive Karen Philips

I'm delighted to welcome you to The Fed's website which was launched in November 2006. I want to let you know about our fantastic work in the Jewish Community of Greater Manchester.

Over 70 members of staff and more than 400 volunteers provide support, advice and guidance to people of all ages and from all sections of the community.

Our website:

  • tells you about our history and the organisations we partner
  • explains the wide range of services we offer
  • informs you about our forthcoming events
  • keeps you up to date with recent Fed news and job vacancies
  • enables you to read feedback from people whom we support
  • tells you how you can do your bit to support the community by making a donation or by becoming a Fed volunteer.

The Fed never stays still. We constantly review and enhance our services, in response to changing needs.

We need to know what you think - not just about our website, but our work too. If you have a comment, an enquiry or even a complaint please tell us about it.
